A03 - Material-Oberflächenladungen und ihr Einfluss auf die Zell-Physiologie und –Morphologie

Zusammenfassung des Arbeitsprogramms

Dieses Projekt soll Zusammenhänge und Mechanismen der Wechselwirkung von Zellen (Osteoblasten) mit Titanoberflächen aufklären, insbesondere die Rolle der Materialoberflächenladungen auf zellphysiologische Vorgänge am Interface. Es wird untersucht, wie strukturelle, chemische, und elektrische Parameter der Materialoberfläche im Zusammenspiel das Zellverhalten (u.a. Kalzium-Signalübertragung) und die Zellmorphologie (u.a. Zellmembran via Rasterkraftmikroskopie) prägen. Hierfür werden Methoden der Oberflächenfunktionalisierung und -strukturierung, der Rastersondenmikroskopie und der Zellbiologie kombiniert.
