SYLOBIO Research Training Group at ‘University in the Town Hall’: Staying active into old age

Under the title ‘Staying active into old age – What can inflammation in artificial joints and wound dressings tell us?’, the DFG Research Training Group 2901 SYLOBIO is hosting a public panel discussion on 29 October 2026 as part of the ‘University at the Town Hall’ series.

Participants will include PD Dr Anika Jonitz-Heincke and Prof. Dr Rainer Bader from sub-project C01 of SFB 1270 ELAINE. Moderated by Renate Heusch-Lahl, the discussion will bring together perspectives from science, medicine, medical technology and public health, and will shed light on the significance of inflammatory processes for the longevity and reliability of implants.
